International Cooperation
The global nature of money laundering and terrorism financing requires the UAEFIU to work closely with international partners to conduct its work effectively.
Boosted by our membership of the Egmont Group — a collaborative body of FIUs from across the world — and a series of bilateral Memoranda of Understanding (MOU), we’re always looking to work alongside new international partners to strengthen our influence and effectiveness. We currently have MOUs with counterpart FIUs in 76 countries and jurisdictions.
